Offered in white or off white powder form, Pregel Starch is used as emulsifier, viscosifier, sizing agent and defoaming factors. It is easily soluble in cold water. It contains less than 10% moisture and less than 1% sulphated ash. Its ph level ranges between 5% to 7%. Pregel Starch is used as important ingredient for a number of confectionery items, dairy products and beverages. It helps to improve texture of cookies and cake during baking. We offer it in food, pharma and industrial grades to meet specific application needs of clients. Food grade version of this substance is used to prolong storage life of frozen items.
